What is the difference between rigid PVC (uPVC) and flexible PVC?+

The polymer is the same; the difference is the formulation. Rigid (unplasticised) PVC contains no plasticiser and is used for profiles and pipe. Flexible PVC has plasticiser added, which makes it soft and pliable for hose, cable and sheeting. The K-value of the resin governs how it processes.
