This food grade product of Indian origin is widely used in the food and beverage industry as a thickener, stabilizer, and binding agent. With its ability to provide high viscosity even in cold water, it is preferred in ice cream, sauces, bakery products, dairy, and ready-to-eat foods. It comes as a fine powder with a creamish white colour.
